New Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Showcase All The Wicked Crew Members

Developer Mimimi Games shared a new trailer for its upcoming stealth strategy game Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew at Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2023.

The new trailer reveals more, if not all, of the available crew you get to make use of in your stealth strategy antics, all bringing different skills and toolkit that allows you to get past, or eliminate, guards.

The initial reveal shows the navigator Afia, Mr. Mecury and Gaelle Le Bris but they’re joined by the rest of the crew.

Afia can “blink”, teleport from one place to another- seen here used to close the distance to stab an imperial guard from the back.

Suleidy the ship doctor can conjure a concealing bush on any ground surface that can act as extra cover. She can also throw spores that makes guards to walk in a specific direction (preferably to a trap that another crew member has set up).

Mr. Mercury can go underground, be opening a portal to the Below, bypassing any locked doors.

Teresa La Ciega is a blind sharpshooter that’s best serve as the crew’s sniper, taking down guards from afar.

Gaelle Le Bris can send a crewmate (or unexpected guard) into her cannon and shoot them out to reach high places.

The ship’s cook Toya Of Iga can throw out charms, and can teleport to guards within range of the thrown charm for a quick kill. And can whistle to attract enemies.

Pinku Von Presswald the quartermaster can straight-up possess someone so long as the alarm is not rung.

Headless treasure hunter Quentin Aalbers can pull guards and crewmates close to him with a fishing rod.

And finally, the Red Marley, the crew’s sentient ship, allows the crew the power of quick-save and quick-load. No really, that’s a feature written within the game’s universe rather than just a quality-of-life feature you access in the pause menu.

If you fancy a little bit of stealth strategy and tactics in the similar veins of Shadow Tactics: Blades Of The Shogun and Desperados III, then you’ll probably want to keep an eye out for this game by the same developers behind the two mentioned games.

Shadow Gambit is targeting a 2023 release for the PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), and Xbox Series X|S.
