Hot Wheels Unleashed looks to be a return to good old arcade racing in the form of the famous brand of diecast toy cars.
While the earlier gameplay reveals shown cars racing on the iconic orange Hot Wheels tracks placed in a neon-drenched garage, this new trailer takes it to… new heights.
Skyscraper is one of the environments you can be zooming around in your tiny cars in. It’s still the same twisty, wide-for-drifting tracks we’ve seen before. Now with a backdrop of the clouds. The skyscraper building these tracks are laying about seems to be under construction still, which is a good excuse to get a view of the sky.
Also, the trailer shows different Hot Wheels cars, and also another example of shortcutting- this time taking enough air to skip the loop-the-loop section.
Hot Wheels Unleashed will be unleashed on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on September 30.
