For Pearl Abyss’ next update for the ever-living MMO Black Desert, they have added a gun.
The new class Deadeye is now available on both Black Desert (the MMORPG available on PC and consoles) and Black Desert Mobile (the mobile variant that plays a little different, but developed in-house by Pearl Abyss).
What makes this class stand out is, well, Deadeye uses guns. This is the first gunslinger available in Black Desert, a high-fantasy setting where handguns are not a thing. As a matter of fact, Deadeye comes from the lands of New Victoria, a parallel Earth, thanks to experiments by Black Desert’s Marni.
In Black Desert, Deadeye fights with a pair of revolvers, a shotgun and, get this, a rocket launcher. Just like any other classes, she’s just as effective in mob-clearing though she works best at range.
With Deadeye, Black Desert now has 29 classes. Deadeye was released last week, December 24, and login now on Black Desert or Black Desert Mobile for new in-game events and login bonuses. Black Desert players can claim a free Mythical Horse from a choice of three.
Black Desert is out now on consoles and PC. Black Desert Mobile is out now on iOS and Android. The developer is also currently developing Crimson Desert, a single-player game, set to release later in 2025.
