New Guilty Gear Trailer Shows Off Axl Low’s Sick Threads And Sickle Combos

As expected, the new trailer for the new Guilty Gear was shown at SEA Major, part of Gamestart 2019. We got to see the Brit time-traveler Axl Low, who just like the rest of the revealed characters, has a new look.

His plaid shirts and actual pants look good on him, but he still has his Union Jack motifs and a bandanna with a cross on it. His fighting style remains the same, utilising the twin chained sickles.

The gameplay in the trailer here goes even wilder with the camera angles. The art style first seen in Guilty Gear Xrd was first made to replicate the look of 2D sprites using 3D models. But new Guilty Gear really wants you to know that these are 3D models with that many swirling camera shots.

Have a look at the trailer:

There’s no character reveal as the stinger this time. However, it is now revealed that the game will be first playable at ArcRevo America- Arc System Works’ own tournament event on November 16-17th. Six characters will be playable: Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl and two more characters.

The two characters will be revealed on two live streams- Arc Live and Arc Nama on November 3rd and 4th respectively.

The new Guilty Gear will be out sometime in 2020.
