A new patch has been released for Final Fantasy VII Remake. Patch 1.02 will let you upload your save for the PS5 version, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
You will have to manually export the save by doing the save upload this way (it won’t detect automatically), so if you already have the PS4 version and want to hop back to the PS5 version coming this week, you’ll need to do this bit first.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the PS5 version of 2020’s 2nd best game (according to us), with graphical improvements and also extra content. This extra content comes in the form of two extra chapters featuring Yuffie Kisaragi, an optional party member from the original FF VII and didn’t appear in last year’s remake.
The extra content is technically DLC, and it’s a PS5-only DLC at that. Players who own FF VII Remake can upgrade to Intergrade for free (but without the Yuffie DLC). Those who own FF VII Remake via PS Plus are not eligible for the Intergrade upgrade.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be available on June 10 for the PS5.
