Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will have another new season starting August 30th. The Spyro & Friends Grand Prix adds new content based on Spyro The Dragon. This includes a new track, karts and characters.
The new track Spyro Circuit is an ode to the original game, featuring portals that will send you different worlds. The in-game items also get a visual tweak just for this circuit, the Wampa Fruit trails are swapped with gems, boxes switched to chests and Aku-Aku’s invincibility effect is switched to Spark The Dragonfly’s… sparks. Spyro fans, you’re in for a treat.
Spyro can be earned in the Grand Prix as a new playable character. The purple dragon won’t be sitting on a trolley like that one dreaded mini-game, thankfully. Instead, he is driving the Spyromobile.
The kart, his ally Hunter The Cheetah and first major enemy Gnasty Gnorc can be unlocked in the Pit Stop.
The Spyro & Friends Grand Prix is a free update with various new cosmetic content earnable through gameplay or bought via a premium currency. The Grand Prix goes live August 30th.
