Ahoy! Pearl Abyss revealed the next new class to be added to its MMORPG game Black Desert.
The new Corsair class will be launching on June 29 on all platforms. For both consoles and PC, as well as on the separate mobile, Black Desert Mobile.
Corsair is a female class that fights with a Serenaca, a long sword, and a rope. Her free combat style is inspired by the waves of the sea, letting you zip, dash and splash enemies in swashbuckling style.
But also, she can “swim” under the ground and summon astral dolphins and while having her hair glowing wildly while doing so? Corsair’s not your typical pirate, it seems.
This was revealed at Pearl Abyss’ annual Heidel Ball event, an in-game event as well as an annual showcase show from the developers.
Alongside Corsair, Black Desert Mobile players can expect four more classes to join the fray- Lahn, Mystic, Solaris and one still to be revealed.
For Black Desert (console and PC) players, expect to see more biomes for the co-op dungeon content, Atoraxxion. The first will be coming on July 21 with three more set for release later this year. There are also new mini-games, like the poker-like card game Yarr and a dice game called Yacht.
