Monster Hunter Outlanders Now Available In Southeast Asia

Monster Hunter Outlanders, the new mobile game based on the Monster Hunter series developed by Timi Studio Group, published by Garena and licensed and supervised by Capcom, is out now.

This new take on Monster Hunter still has you hunting various monsters, new and returning, but this free-to-play game has you pulling for specific characters titled Adventurers instead of creating your own custom Hunter. Plus, the companion character is more than just the cat-based Palicos, featuring two other different kinds.

In Monster Hunter Outlanders, Adventurers are hunting monsters in the land called Aesoland. The game has a main story where players uncover Aesoland’s mysteries, a Free Hunt mode to just hunt monsters, and Arena matches “where everyone fights on equal stats.”

To celebrate the launch, the first month of events for Monster Hunter Outlanders has been revealed, and there’s a lot of rewards. Up to 400 Recruitment Tickets, SSR Adventurer Pyro, SSR Adventurer Luka, SSR Buddy Kojiro and more are up for grabs.

Monster Hunter Outlanders, like most Monster Hunter games, supports 1-4 player parties. Seven of the Monster Hunter weapons types (and their specific movesets that fans adore) are available at launch (Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Heavy Bowgun, Bow and newly revealed Charge Blade) with more weapon types to be added in the future.

While Monster Hunter Outlanders have optimised the controls for touchscreens, controller support is available at launch albeit for select features (hunting, quests, field exploration). Controller support in other parts of the game is being worked on.

Monster Hunter Outlanders is out now in Southeast Asia for iOS and Android.
