The next Minecraft update is something fans that have been wanting for some time. It’s the cave update. And cliffs.
Minecraft Cave & Cliffs update will be adding new cave biomes (including lush caves- with vegetation and proper stalactites and stalagmites), improved cave generation (more variety, including underwater caves) and much, much more.
For players that uses redstone, there’s also the new sculk sensor block, which can detect vibrations that also sends redstone signals. And with this, you can even make wireless redstone. Expect to see more engineering and programming marvels being created with this.
There’s also a new mob that lurks in the caves- the warden.
The cliffs part of the the Caves & Cliffs is based on a previous community vote of adding mountain biomes into the survival/crafting game. There will be mountain goats, copper blocks that starts in bronze and will age into green in colour over time. Plus, little axolotls are also being added as well.

The Minecraft Caves & Cliffs update is set to arrive in summer 2021. It’s still along way to go, but from the sound of it, it’s a massive update.
