Do you want to play an open world delivery game set in empty landscapes but something that’s also not Death Stranding? Take a look at Mars First Logistics.
Developed by Australian devs Shape Shop, Mars First Logistics is technically open world physics sim first, delivery game later. Players are tasked to build their own vehicle, fully simulated with physics, and use them to transport cargo across the rugged terrain of Mars. Also, moon physics. Well, Mars physics to be exact, but essentially the gravity here can be a little floaty.
As you progress, you earn funds to unlock more parts to build vehicles with so you can transport the variety of cargo which can range from heavy to… bouncy. Later on, you’ll be able to build infrastructure, including roads, monorails and powerlines.
Mars First Logistics may not have a star-studded class including a famous VTuber, or supernatural beings, but it has familiar mechanics fans of delivery games might appreciate.
Mars First Logistics’ vehicle builder might also attract a different set of fans. Between its menu looking like a manual for a Lego set to the wild ways you can create your machinations, fans of games like Besiege, or even Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, would go crazy for the robust vehicle creation system.

The open world you explore in Mars First Logistics is procedurally generated, so a new save can mean a whole new way to approach a delivery. The game also supports online co-op with up to three other players.
There’s been an influx of delivery games as of late, in particular in the indie scene. From games with drum n bass to cosy small-sized affairs, and more are still on the way.
Mars First Logistics just hit 1.0 after two years in Early Access. The game is out now on PC (Steam).
