Warner Bros. have finally announced that Lego The Incredibles is indeed a thing. Long rumoured due to leaked marketing material, the movie tie-in for The Incredibles 2 that also happens to be a Lego product tie-in will be out just in time with the movie release.
The main game will have players work together and use each of the Parr family’s superpowers to progress through levels inspired by events in the movie, but in Lego form. A hub world is confirmed to be included.
TT Games’s last movie tie-in we reviewed, the Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game, was a decent romp. It has its faults being a movie tie-in- chopped up scenes from the movie did not gel well and there were some performance issues, but it is otherwise a good game to play with the family. Lego The Incredibles 2 should be not far off in quality- hopefully it’s better- when it arrives on the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on June 14th.
