Latest Nvidia Graphics Driver Adds Ray-Tracing To Resident Evil 2,3 & 7 And More

A new Nvidia GeForce Game Ready driver is now available to download. Driver version 516.40 adds support for a bunch of upcoming and already-released games, five of which are getting RTX-based enhancements.

The remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, as well as Resident Evil 7, recently received a next-gen upgrade for consoles making use of the power of the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. But PC players are also getting some love too.

The three survival horror games from Capcom now support ray-traced global illumination and ray-traced reflections as part of a free update. Now they are RTX on.

Alongside that, Jurrasic World Evolution 2, the dino-park builder by Frontier, gets ray-traced ambient occlusion (RTAO) so the dinosaurs look better and Icarus gets Nvidia Reflex support for reduced latency and more responsive gameplay.

Additionally, the driver also adds optimised performance when Fall Guys goes free-to-play as Fall Guys Free For All. All the new additions to this new Nvidia GeForce driver can be found here.

Nvidia GeForce driver version 516.40 is available today and can be downloaded here or via the Nvidia GeForce Experience app.
