Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions has revealed a new teaser with in-game footage from their upcoming Xbox collaboration game during their recent 10th Anniversary celebration Event.
And the game, OD, not only looks incredible already, but also feels a bit similar in execution from the director’s previous attempt in the Horror genre.
The trailer itself showcases a bunch of redacted text (and even mosaic censors) before going into a first-person sequence where the character played by Sophia Lillis tries to light candles before the terrors begin to knock, hence the new name of OD – KNOCK. And this portion of the trailer does have some resemblance of a certain playable teaser before cutting into a close-up of Lillis’ character and fading to black.
The game is also confirming to be using the Unreal Engine and has the support of the Xbox Games Studio for the development. No release date has been mentioned but expect it to come soon to Xbox and PC in the near future.
