Kingdom Hearts III, the long-awaited Action JRPG with crossovers of Final Fantasy and Disney characters, should come out anytime soon but don’t hold your breath. Instead, let the waiting time be used to catch up with the series’ convoluted story, spanned across not just the two main games, but the many spin-offs available on various platforms. Just in time for its 15-year anniversary.
But what if there’s an easier way to experience the previous two games and get all the story cutscenes from the many spin-offs? Square Enix just announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 +2.5 Remix will be available on the PS4. This used to be two separate titles, released on the PS3. The package will include content from six different Kingdom Hearts games, which are:
• KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX
• KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
• KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)
• KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
• KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
• KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded

Do note this will be different than the previously announced Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which will have different, new content, to be released on January next year. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is set for a worldwide release on March 28 2017 for the PS4.
