Infinity Nikki Launches This December

Open world cosy (cozy) adventure game Infinity Nikki now has a release date.

The free-to-play is coming to PS5 and PC as well as on mobile devices, with more than 30 million pre-registered players around the world. Pre-registration is still open, doing so will net you in-game items and currency, like every free-to-play game does.

Dubbed the “coziest open world game”, Infinity Nikki is developed by Infold Games, a developed based in Singapore owned by China-based Papergames. It’s a similar business setup to Mihoyo/Hoyoverse.

Infinity Nikki is part of the established Nikki series, with this being its 5th entry, though it’s the first to be available on PC and consoles.

In Infinity Nikki, players are free to explore Miraland as Nikki, accompanied by her companion Momo. You jump and do some platforming, solve puzzles, and do cosy activities like fishing, pet grooming and participate in fashion contests. And there’s plenty of wholesome costumes for Nikki to wear.

Fascinatingly, Infinity Nikki’s development team includes the talents of Kentaro Tominaga, previously of Nintendo who worked as a game designer on the Legend Of Zelda series of games, including Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

If you ever wanted a no-combat Genshin Impact, or an open world Barbie game, this title might be what you’re looking for. Infinity Nikki Releases on December 6 for the PS5, PC, iOS and Android.
