How Can Acer Top The Ridiculous Predator Thronos? By Adding A Massage Chair

Acer has definitely gone wild when designing a “gaming chair” with the Predator Thronos, which is more of an elaborate multi-monitor mount that happens to have a chair and footrest. So how can they ever top that?

Easy. By adding a massage chair.

Revealed at IFA 2019 at Berlin today, the Acer Predator Thronos Air is the successor to the gaming throne from last year. Now it’s less bulky- the central armature has slimmed down a bit. But also will make you feel more strapped in thanks to the new side panels. And as mentioned, those are not just regular seats- it has a massager.

Previous features including the keyboard and mouse tray, support up to three monitors, a spot to place your desktop PC, cable management system and, of course, cup holders, are still here. You can still rotate the cockpit (up to 130 degrees if measured from within the cabin). A headset holder, USB hub and camera are now added.

The Predator Thronos Air will be available in Q4 2020 for $13,999 USD (around RM58,871.39) in North America. Acer Malaysia brought the original one here for purchase for RM56,999. This is not something everyone can buy, but should it be brought over to Malaysia, will definitely be the showpiece of future Acer roadshows.
