Hitman 3 is close to release (with media outlets and content creators already have access to the game), so it’s now a good time for IO Interactive to just reveal all the six locations.
Leading up to the release so far we’ve known three maps already- the game-opener party level set at a skyscraper in Dubai,UAE, a mansion in Dartmoor, England where a murder mystery can happen, the soaking wet streets of Chonqing, China, bathe in neon lights.
The remaining three locations are Berlin, Germany (to be visited after Dartmoor and before Chongqing), Mendoza, Argentina and the finale set in the Carpathian Mountains, Romania. Long-time Hitman fans would know how Romania is important to Agent 47’s backstory from past titles, and it looks like the final game of this trilogy has a setup for quite the ending, just from the location name alone.
If you already have Hitman (2016) and Hitman 2, you can also have those all those locations, including DLC ones, to play on Hitman 3 as well. And if you have a Hitman 2 save, progression and unlocks from that game can be carried over to Hitman 3- so no need to re-run the previous locations to get all the unlocks again. And all of this is playable in VR too, with PSVR.
Hitman 3 will be out on January 20 on the PS4, PS5, PC (Epic Games Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Stadia.
