ASUS ROG has revealed in full its 2022 line of ROG gaming laptops for the Malaysia market. If you’re looking for a general gaming laptop that’s not too overkill, you might want to take a look at the Strix G15/G17 line.
In Malaysia, we’re getting seven (7!) different variants available for sale, two of which comes in the fetching Volt Green and Electro Punk (pink) accent colours respectively.
All of the ROG Strix G15 and G17 gaming laptops for 2022 are powered by AMD Ryzen 6000 Series CPU, the latest version for gaming laptops this year and come ready installed with Windows 11.
However, we should point out that none of the variants features a built-in webcam. This omission wouldn’t be a big deal since you’re buying a laptop for gaming, but with these days where virtual conferencing is more common than ever, it’s worth noting. It does have a built-in microphone like most usual laptops.
All models have 4-zone RGB for the keyboard, except two variants as stated in the specs list below.
