Helldivers 2 is the sequel to the 2015 game Helldivers from the developers that made the original Magicka. Helldivers 2 brings the perspective down to a behind-the-shoulder third person camera view as you play as a Helldiver, a soldier sent to hellish planets to kill aliens in the name of spreading managed democracy.

The game is better played with friends, as in multiplayer, friendly fire is always on, and as you can see in the trailer, there are plenty of ways where you can accidentally send a fellow Helldiver to their doom including a clean headshot and a supply drop landing on top of them.

Helldivers 2 drops to Earth on February 8 for the PS5 and PC (Steam).
