H1Z1 Has Left Early Access, Adds New Mode That’s Basically Twisted Metal Battle Royale

Full-on car combat action

H1Z1, previously known as H1Z1 King Of The Kill, is now leaving Early Access. The battle royale game, which PlayerUnknown was consulted early on to help create the concept, has reportedly losing traction thanks to PUBG, but it is still trying new stuff. Like the new mode called Auto Royale.

In Auto Royale, groups of four will spawn inside a car, but cannot exit it at any time. 30 cars will battle it out with weapons, ammo fuel and health pickups laid out across the map. Last team driving wins.

In short, it really sounds like Twisted Metal battle royale, but you have three friends backing you up and attack from other angles that is not at the front or the back. Compared to GTA Online’s Motor Wars, which is battle royale but with some vehicular combat, this is totally full-on car combat action.

After being in Early Access starting in 2015, H1Z1 is now ready to become a full product in February 26th. It is now available on PC via Steam for only RM38.
