GTA Online’s biggest content drop yet is now live. The Doomsday Heist an all-new heist with a strong story focus about impending doom that you and/or up to three friends must stop. The heist isn’t like the other four available already, it is split into three acts with various setups missions and freeroam prep missions. Expect a long list of things to keep you busy.
You also get access to the futuristic Kahnjali tank, the long-rumoured and now available Mammoth Thruster jetpack, the avenger VTOL plane and a Delorean-esque car which can hover and fly.
To top of all the ridiculousness, you also can get to call an orbital strike.
There is also a new radio station, blonded Los Santos 97.8FM hosted by Frank Ocean, featuring all-new music.
All of this content is available free in GTA Online, but you may need to purchase them in-game first. With Red Dead Redemption 2 coming sometime next year, it’s nice to see Rockstar is throwing something big for the current GTA Online players. No plans whether or not the game will remain to be supported with content after Redemption 2 is released have been stated.
