It’s the 4th of July and the US is celebrating Independence Day. GTA Online is joining in the celebration by unlocking all of its Independence Day content. If you haven’t bought the fireworks launcher, the Western Sovereign, the Liberator Monster Truck and other content tied to the patriotic day it’s now up for grabs for 25% off until July 10. There will also be new liveries for the Mobile Operations Center (MOC) from the Gunrunning update as well.
Aside from that, this new update adds a new Adversary Mode called Dawn Raid. Two teams of up to six players parachute into a combat zone to find a package. You’ll have to use the Trackifier app to pinpoint the location so balancing between opening the app and gunning down the enemy is the name of the game here. Players are equipped with Night and Thermal Vision Goggles, making it harder to just sneak your way to the package. The team that finds and extracts the package into the evacuation zone wins.
If new modes are not your cup of tea, what about a new car? The Dewbauchee Vagner is now available for purchase. The supercar is pretty fast and according to Youtuber Broughy1322, it is currently ranked the sixth fastest car in the game, which is pretty competitive.
The Independence Day update should be available now for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
