There’s not one but two different GTA VI albums releasing this year as Rockstar Games continue to hype the biggest release of the year with more new music reveals.
Alongside the previously announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, there will also be another album release just for the open world game’s original score, titled, Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score.
Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score will feature 30 tracks composed by French electronic duo Justice.
One of the songs featured in the Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score has been released: Flower In A Hurricane ft. Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard (also included in Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.)
This announcement also has released a new track, Pusher, featuring fellow French electronic producer Gesaffelstein.
While Flower In A Hurricane has that retro rock-disco vibes, Pusher has a more intense electro mix with a foreboding melody. In short, what you’d expect from Justice. While often compared to the other recently disbanded French House duo Daft Punk, Justice’s sonic identity vastly differs from the robots. If these two tracks released so far are of any indication, expect some heavy drama, Hyperdrama if you will, with what’s going to happen to the crime couple Jason and Lucia.
Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score can be pre-saved on all major music streaming services. Pre-orders for CDs (two discs) and vinyl (three vinyls) are also available. The physical discs album are interestingly affordable: the normal double CD set via Justice’s own webstore is listed at RM64.44.
Unlike Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which will drop alongside the game, Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score will be released much later, on December 11.
