Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition Finally Available On Steam

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition is now available on Steam. This is the three-in-one remaster of the PS2/Xbox-era trilogy of GTA games: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition was already available on PC back when it launched in 2021, but was made exclusive to the Rockstar Launcher. Now the game is on Steam to coincide with the Rockstar Games publisher sale live right now until February 2.

The trilogy of GTA games was a watershed moment that paved way to the many open-world games we play today. But the remaster is.. a bit scuffed, to put lightly. Our review of the Definitive Edition isn’t a glowing one, but the games did get further improvements since we posted that, and with the sales, it’s currently 50% off should you be morbidly curious. It’s Playable on Steam Deck.

That said, there’s some bonafide Rockstar Games goodness that’s currently cheap right now, so maybe have a gander at GTA IV, L.A. Noire or Max Payne 3, all of which are priced under RM20.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition will also make its way to the Epic Games Store later this month. The game is currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
