Going Dark: Call of Duty Modern Warfare Out This October

Activision and Infinity Ward has announced the latest game of their long-standing series. A reimagining of the original Modern Warfare.

The game’s single player campaign will see players entangled in “an incredibly raw, gritty, provocative narrative that brings unrivaled intensity and shines a light on the changing nature of modern war” ,and since it’s an reimagining of COD 4, you get to play as fan favorite Captain Price.

But there’s more, Modern Warfare will have cross-play between both consoles and PC,a first for a big series like this one and Activision has stated that they won’t be any season pass for the game. Quite a statement there. The game is also running on a new engine, with PC exclusive graphics settings like 4K textures and even Ray-tracing available.

Pre-orders are now available on your platform of choice, like the PS Store Asia for RM234. Why other editions are costlier (besides the various packs) without a season pass is peculiar though.

The game will launch on October 25 for PS4, Xbox One and PC via the Blizzard Launcher.
