As The International 8 is commencing, there was one skit aired during the downtime featuring Valve’s Gabe Newell recording a new announcer voice pack for Dota 2. The skit is all fun and giggles, they even had Gabe struggle to say “Triple Kill” because “Valve can’t count to three”.
But just like the time Bethesda aired a jokey Skyrim game for the Amazon Echo only to be real, so does the Gabe Newell Mega Kills Pack. Battle Pass owners for this year will receive the voice pack later today for free.
