The early battle royale game that is now only catching up with the boys will be console bound to PS4. H1Z1 recently became free-to-play despite only leaving Steam Early Access a week beforehand. Since then they have also launched their esports initiative, the H1Z1 Pro League.
Now H1Z1 sets its plan for release on the PS4, with promise of new controls scheme fit for controllers, faster matches that last under 20 minutes, new weapons and 60FPS for PS4 Pro.
Like its PC counterpart, it will be free-to-play. Expect to see H1Z1 air drops its way to PS4 on May 22 as an Open Beta.
