Arkane Studios, the developer behind the Dishonored and Prey series, is celebrating its 20-year anniversary. And it’s giving away a copy of its first game, Arx Fatalist, on PC. Through the Bethesda Launcher.
What you need to do is go their anniversary hub here and sign up for the Arkane Outsiders newsletter with a Bethesda account. Once signed up, Arx Fatalist will be added to your library.
Arx Fatalist is a first-person immersive sim, just like all of Arkane’s title, where there are many systems that are at play that players can manipulate in clever ways. Or play it like a first-person RPG like a regular game.
It’s an old game, however, so expect some rough edges, either from the game itself being buggy, or the game not following now-conventional features.
