In an unexpected move, at Blizzcon 2018 it was announced that everyone can get a free game that is not made by Blizzard. Bungie’s Destiny 2, which is on PC exclusively through Battle.net, is now free for a limited time.
This is the second time this year the looter-shooter sequel is being offered for free following September’s PS Plus offer.
To claim it, just log in to your Battle.net launcher and it will appear in the gifts section. The offer is valid until November 18th. New accounts opened after November 2nd, the announcement of the free offer, will require the activation of Blizzard SMS Protect, a two-step authenticator.
Those who already owned Destiny 2 already will receive an in-game emblem marking the game’s first anniversary instead.
