It’s another month of updates coming to Forza Horizon 5 this week. Series 7 will start later this Thursday, but a new patch should be dropping today, fixing bugs and adding some content not tied to the Festival Playlist.
If last month was all about beefing up Horizon Open, the multiplayer PvP aspect of the game, April 2022 sees Horizon Tour, the more casual co-op multiplayer mode, getting some love.
Over 200 events have been added to Horizon Tour, which should spice up and encourage folks to give it another try. In addition, there are now events that make use of the super-fast S2 class of cars.
Eventlab, the custom game mode creation tool, is also getting two new “rules of play”, logic parameters players can tinker with. You can now limit or boost engine torque, and the gravity parameter added from last series has more settings to adjust. New props, including the giant colourful T-Rex seen in Series 6, will be available in Eventlab as well.
Other than that, the game update brings the usual bug fixes, like the first chapter of the Forzathon Weekly Challenge sometimes not triggering despite driving the right car.
You can find the full patch notes here.
Series 7 in Forza Horizon 5 will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the open world decorated for the festivities. All the earnable new cars as part of the Series 7 Festival Playlist will be from Ferrari.
