Forza Horizon 4 gets another content update, now live. Series 9 adds four new Mini cars to the game, as well as the return of two fan-favourites.
Minis are not just the small little cars from Mr. Bean- which is already in the game. The update adds a big Mini buggy that has ran the Dakar rally and an old convertible Mini from 1965.
Here’s the full list of added cars in Series 9:
- 2018 MINI John Cooper Works Convertible
- 2018 MINI John Cooper Works Countryman All4
- 2018 MINI X-raid John Cooper Works Buggy
- 1965 Morris Mini-Traveller
- 723 Quartz Regalia
- 2018 Apollo Intensa Emozione
The update also addresses some issues with online racing. Wall-riding (i.e. not braking and turning and let the wall and game physics move you faster) will now be penalised by a short slowdown. Also, players that go way too fast when everyone is slow- like someone misjudged a corner- will be ghosted to avoid impact. So this should reduce the number of punts.
Outside of that, there’s a new Custom Adventure mode for online to make your custom playlist of events, a new Horizon story involving testing car insurance claims and a remix of a previous showcase event where you race against the Delta-Wing jet.
