Publisher Focus Home Interactive is publishing Streum On Studio’s upcoming FPS based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Necromunda: Hired Gun. But also, they just announced that they have acquired the developers for an undisclosed amount.
The developers previously worked with Focus Home Interactive for another Warhammer 40K, the third-person shooter adaptation of Space Hulk, Space Hulk: Deathwing, which has sold near a million copies, the press release stated. They previously made E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy, their own IP.
This will mean the co-operation between the two entities will be a permanent one, not just for the studio’s Warhammer 40K games.
On that note, Necromunda: Hired Gun also received a new trailer, showing what the underside of the hive world you will be spending time in.
Necromunda: Hired Gun will be out on June 1 for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
