As revealed during the February 2024 State Of Play broadcast, a demo of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now released, available to download on PS5.
The demo will include a portion of the game where you get to control Cloud and, get this, Sephiroth. This is during the Nibelheim flashback.
However, the demo doesn’t end there. On February 21, the demo will be updated again to feature part of the Junon Region to explore.
So today’s demo is a sampler of a sampler, if you will. The big demo won’t be out just yet.
Completing the demo will unlock a charm in the main game. And if you cleared the Nibelheim portion in the demo, you also have the option to skip that portion in the main game.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was the only game showcased on the aforementioned State Of Play. It shows off the world map, the many mini-games, open world explorations and even dialogue wheels where your dialogue choice will build relationships with the other party members.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be out on February 29 for the PS5.
