Another one of the new “pixel remaster” of the classic Final Fantasy games is out now on PC via Steam. After Final Fantasy I, II and III, now it’s Final Fantasy IV’s turn for a pixel remaster.
Final Fantasy IV follows the journey of dark knight Cecil to fight the tyrannical Kingdom of Baron alongside fellow party members Kain the dragoon, Rosa the white mage, Rydia the summoner and more.

This numbered entry of Final Fantasy brings diverse characters, a moving story and the first to introduce the Active Time Battle (ATB) system. Instead of turn-based battles, your party and the enemy will have to wait in real-time for the ATB bar to fill up before you can execute commands, but time won’t stop when you are navigating the menus.
Square Enix’ pixel remaster of the Final Fantasy games brings redrawn 2D pixel graphics, rearranged soundtrack, new controller and touch controls, new UI, an auto-battle option as well as other quality-of-life changes.
Final Fantasy IV pixel remaster is out now on Steam for RM79, but until September 23 there’s a 20% discount dropping it to RM63.20. The full bundle of the Final Fantasy pixel remasters, which includes Final Fantasy I-VI, is available for the large price of RM330.72
