F1 2019’s New Trailer Showcases Some Gameplay To The Tune Of The F1 Theme

F1 2019’s official trailers have been short teasers to the tune of The Prodigy’s Light Up The Sky. But this new trailer trades away the Wipeout-ish vibes for some orchestra and a real look at gameplay.

This year’s F1 game will feature F2, the junior series leading up to the pinnacle of motorsport. The included content will feature the 2018 F2 season. The 2019 F2 Championship, with the proper drivers and tracks, will be added for free post-launch.

Now, have a look at the trailer, set to the tune of the F1 theme:

Note that the car models are not yet final. Any hardcore F1 fan would cringe at the look of the Mercedes F1 car, which is obviously not correct yet in the trailer.

Alongside all the 21 tracks and 20 drivers of the 2019 season, there will be 18 classic F1 cars:

  • 2010 Red Bull RB6
  • 2009 Brawn BGP 001
  • 2008 McLaren MP4 –23
