Arkane May have took a break on the Dishonored series, and now working with Machine Gun Games on Wolfenstein. But there are still making a new game.
Titled Deathloop, the game by Arkane Lyon is billed as a first-person action game, with two dueling assassins, Colt and Juliana are killing each other, over and over again as they are trapped in a timeloop of sorts.
The trailer shows off some gunplay as well as some supernatural ability, something like Dishonored. And the time loop stuff should be reminiscent of Prey’s Mooncrash DLC which changed that immersive sim into a rougelike.
There’s no word on a release date or consoles yet, but assuming Bethesda’s track record of announcing games late in development, at least give it a year until we hear more on Deathloop.
