E3 2018: More Spyro Reignited Trilogy Gameplay Shows More Graphical Changes, But Very Familiar Gameplay

Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the three-in-one faithful remaster to the original three Spyro The Dragon games by Insomniac Games may have not gotten the big onstage presence seen by the Crash N.Sane Trilogy, but it did appear at E3 on the Playstation Live E3 show.

Footage of the level Toasty, the first boss level from Spyro The Dragon was shown. Similar to the tease for Stone Hills, it is highly faithful to the original feel- the layouts, the number of enemies are all the same.

The footage is also the first time we hear Spyro and the other dragons sound. It is confirmed that Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) who voiced Spyro in the last two games of the original trilogy will voice Spyro in its entirely, but the good news for old fans is that Spyro 1 Spyro still sound scruffy and cocky as you expect.

The dragons trapped in statues have new designs based on the world, so the first world of Artisans have these dragons dressed as painters, sculptors and even baristas.

There is also footage of the first time attack level, it is still as hard as you remember.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will be out on September 21st for the PS4 and Xbox One.
