Last month we say news of Sony shutting down Driveclub developers Evolution studios, only to be saved by Codemasters recently. While Driveclub had an unfortunate delay and still launched in a terrible manner, the game has improved ever so much until today. It was surprise to hear the news, since Driveclub is one of the titles to be supporting the Playstation VR which has yet to materialise.
Recent news however, may seem to point that VR support is still coming.
The folks at IGN UK have discovered that Driveclub VR is being rated by the ESRB. It’s a common way to see if a game is on its way, by looking if there’s a rating for it. Interestingly, Driveclub Bikes was first discovered in the same fashion ahead of it Paris Games Week reveal.
The question is up in the air on which developer is now taking the mantles of finishing the VR support, and why is it being rated separately. We bet that Driveclub VR can be bought as a standalone product, pretty much like Driveclub Bikes.
This is by no means official news, but here’s hoping some proper information will arrive soon.
