Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Open Beta Has Some Network Issues At The Moment

Beta period may be extended

Managed to get into the Dragon Ball FighterZ Open Beta? If you didn’t, you’re not alone. Bandai Namco has now made a statement that the beta is indeed suffering from some network issues right now, which results in some players unable to connect to the servers and play it.

“Our team is working hard on optimizing the Open Beta but ran into some issues that cannot be addressed in a short amount of time, so we are asking for your patience until the next server update,” reads the official statement over on Facebook.

Thus, Bandai Namco is considering extending the beta period should the problem persists. The open beta was scheduled to run from 14th to 16th January, with those that pre-ordered receiving access one day early.

This could be a good problem to have, betas are supposed to stress test servers with real players and ensure everything runs okay when the game launches, but folks who did not have the chance to try it out yet will surely be frustrated on this.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled to launch on 26th January for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
