Dooit Is A Mobile Trivia Game Where Winners Get Real Money, A Malaysian Take On HQ

It has come to our attention that there’s a mobile trivia game that plays a lot like HQ, but geared for Malaysians. For the uninitiated, HQ is a live triva game where players tuned in at certain times of the day and answer a series of trivia questions, presented live with a host. A wrong answer will eliminate you from the game, unless you have extra lives by having people sign up with your referral code. The winners get to share the winning prize.

HQ has amassed over 1 million players after it first launched in 2017.

Dooit is a localisation of Paydro, which operates in The Philippines. Both games function eerily similar to HQ, but with its own local spin. For Dooit, the trivia centers around what Malaysians would -or should- know. The session we tried out had questions about vaccination, the recent win by three Malaysian drivers at the 6 Hours Of Fuji race and the Malay word for cardamom.

It has quite the following, with over 12 thousand players tuned in on the latest game we tried. The chat already has in-jokes, spams of tapir can easily be seen.

If you liked the concept of HQ but wished the trivia is less US-centric and the shows to be at more reasonable time, well, this is the one to look for.

Dooit Live is available on iOS and Android.
