Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition Announced For Consoles In August

Also out as a free update for PC

Divinity: Original Sin II, the highly rated CRPG of last year, will be landing on consoles with the announcement of the Definitive Edition. Developers Larian Studios will be partnering up with Bandai Namco to publish the game on both PS4 and Xbox One.

Players on Xbox One can now experience the game in the Xbox Preview Program, an Early Access-like program where you could play the entire first act while give feedback on the state of the game with the introduction of Feedback Billy, an NPC. Instead of writing bug reports, you just go through the game’s already in-depth conversation system to relay feedback to the developers. Neat, huh?

Divinity: Original Sin II will also add “thousands of of tweaks and changes.” It was announced on Facebook that it will be available for free for all players that already owned the game on PC as a separate executable- similar to the Divinity Original Sin did with its Enhanced Edition.

Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition will be out on August 2018 for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
