Dirt 5 Adds New Paid DLC, Ray-Tracing On PC, Private Lobbies And More In New Update

Dirt 5 is sliding in today with a big update. It brings a new premium DLC, the Uproar Content Pack, alongside a slew of updates and some nice content additions for everyone.

First, the new Uproar DLC adds four fictional, but familiar to the Dirt series, cars. They are:

  • Duke Coupe
  • Jackson Adventurer
  • Jackson Eulogy
  • Zenden Cup

Alongside that, the Uproar Content Pack includes 25 new events, two new sponsors and more career customisation rewards.

As for the free update, version 4.00, there are now more Dark Playgrounds items for Playgrounds, the Trackmania-like build-your-own-track mode, as well as allowing all Playgrounds locations to have night time. The update also adds private lobbies- so you can have a fun race with only the people you want to.

Also, there are new liveries for the BMW M1 Procar, Subaru WRX STI RX Supercar, Subaru Impreza S4 Rally and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. These liveries should remind you of their actual counterparts’ racing colours, though with different sponsors here and there.

Also, for PC players, there is now ray-tracing support, which enables ray-tracing shadows.
