Battlefield V, the latest of the big-scale FPS from DICE, now returning to World War II, had a closed alpha session recently. Invites were limited and only the most passionate fans and veterans of the recent Battlefield games got a taste of the game and now the developers are sharing some insights on what they have learned with a post-mortem post.
But at the end of the post, they hinted on when can we get our hands on an open beta. Expect to see one in September ahead of its October 16th release. For those that are going to gamescom, expect a new build of the game available for some hands-on time.
On the blog post, DICE has been monitoring the small intricacies of the game at its current state. From the Time To Kill to where players are engaging enemies with on the map, there are many variables that are being tracked. Player feedback were also taken into account- some weapons will be rebalanced, though the changes will not be final as more weapons will be added to the game.
You can read the full post-mortem here.
Battlefield V will be available on PS4, PC and Xbox One on October 16th.
