Bloody Palace is a wave-based challenge mode that has been in every Devil May Cry game since Devil May Cry 2.
While the mechanics of the game mode have changed with every entry, the basic concept- fighting stages composed of multiple enemy types with increasing difficulty, have stayed the same.
The Bloody Palace update was first announced in a trailer for Devil May Cry 5, though no release date was given.
Devil May Cry 5 is doing very well in Japan right now, having spent the past week at number one on physical software sales with 116,000 units sold.
