After getting absolutely bodied by Goat Simulator 3, Dead Island 2 is now finally exiting development hell and it’s coming very soon after it’s re-reveal at Gamescom Opening Night.
The trailer showcase one of the six playable characters that will roam the zombies-infested version of Los Angeles (HELL-A according to the devs, Dambuster Studios) to the tune of “Hollywood Swinging” using a variety of weapons. Which looks quite solid for a game long in development hell.
So after 7 years in development, Dead Island 2 is now set to launch on February 3, next year on both PlayStation and Xbox consoles, along with PC via the Epic Games Store.
