Dark Souls Remastered Network Test Begins May 11th, Pre-Load For PS4 Now Available

Jolly co-operation

Ready to die all over and over again? Dark Souls Remastered’s Network Test will begin on May 11th until May 12th, starting at 7PM JST (That’s 6PM Malaysian time, +8GMT) until 9PM (8PM) for Asia.

As the name implies, From Software is stress testing its multiplayer servers with the Network Test. As such, everyone can download and give it a try for free. Here’s the download link on PS Store Asia. It is a 3.23GB download.

Dark Souls Remastered will use dedicated servers instead of P2P connections, feature 6 concurrent players maximum, up from 4 on the original release, easier matchmaking using passwords and changes to make PVP not drag too long by limiting the use of healing items to only Estus Flasks. Siliconera has a good rundown of the changes which you can find here.
