Brace yourself, as developers Brace Yourself Games has released a new DLC for the rythm-based dungeon crawler Crypt Of The Necrodancer.
The Hatsune Miku Character DLC adds everyone’s favourite vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku. She has multiple outfits, can move in all eight directions, and can hit enemies with a leek. Plus, she has a new ability called “SING!” that charm monsters and shatters walls. landing consecutive hits will regain “SING!” charges as well as increasing damage.
Miku doesn’t have access to the trusty shovel, so she can only dig by dashing enemies into walls.
So this isn’t just a character skin. Miku should play a lot different when compared to other characters.
Pluis, the DLC adds 15 new Hatsune Miku songs to the soundtrack. There are all remixes, and will replace all of the typical level songs when she is selected.
Crypt Of The Necrodancer recently received a new DLC last month, the Synchrony DLC, which added new characters, online multiplayer (with cross-play) and full mode support. And this is the second DLC.
Brace Yourself Games launched two different games, both not having any rhythm component, last year with the industrial builder Industries Of Titan and the real-time/turn-based mecha strategy tactics game Phantom Brigade.
And it looks like the indie developer team is going back to support its biggest claim to fame with new DLC.
The Hatsune Miku DLC for Crypt Of The Necrodancer is now available on PC (Steam) and is coming to PlayStation and Switch soon.
