Fabledom, the cosy fantasy city-builder that recently released out of Early Access, has sold more than 200,000 copies since its launch two weeks ago.
At its peak, player count for Fabledom reached 4,266 on Steam, which is pretty good for an indie single-player game.
Developer Grenaa Games has this to say following the successful launch:
“We feel very grateful to the community, proud of the game we’ve created and quite tired since the launch week frenzy has ended. We just hope players will enjoy the game and feel like it made their day a bit better. For it to bring positive energy to everyone who plays it!”
Fabledom has you be a prince or princess and build a kingdom. The task isn’t to build the biggest kingdom or city there is. Rather, your main goal is to court another ruler and get hitched. And build a massive city while you’re at it. The game combines survival city builder mechanics with a more chill, wholesome tone and flair so whether you’re a city builder newbie or veteran, you’ll find something to love out of Fabledom.
Fabledom is also set to release on the PS5 and Xbox Series later this year (Q3 2024). The game is out now on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Check out our review of the game here.
