Control’s Endgame Content, Expeditions, Out Now

Control just released an update, now live on all platforms. The December update is adding the promised content from the previously released roadmap: Expeditions.

Expeditions is the endgame content designed to test your combat prowess for those that have completed the game. Remember that jukebox in Central Executive where you can find reports about people being transported to another location if they turn it on? That’s the entry point to Expeditions.

Expeditions are unlocked after completing the main mission My Brother’s Keeper. You can find a Jukebox Token, and Arish who will point you to the Jukebox, at Central Executive, just near the control point you spawn in.

Jukebox Tokens acts as an entry key to Expeditions and are consumables, so no free respawns. You can craft more tokens or earn them by completing Bureau Alerts, Board Countermeasures and defeating named enemies.

There are special mods only earnable in this mode should you able to complete it. And a high score card so you can manually compare score with friends- no in-game leaderboards.

Control is really good. While we don’t have a review of it (yet), you can hear us talk in length on dia.log- The Gamer Matters Podcast.
