With Control releasing its second and final expansion later this month, 505 Games have announced that there will be a new release that includes the base game and all updates and expansions: Control Ultimate Edition.
It’s also coming to Steam, as it’s reached the end of the one-year exclusivity deal with Epic Games Store.
Control Ultimate Edition will also be avaiable on PS4 and Xbox One. Those that purchased this on consoles will get a free next-gen upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X respectively.
Oddly, this does not retroactively apply to existing owners of Control. You’ll need to own the Ultimate Edition to get that free next-gen upgrade.
Control Ultimate Edition releases on Steam on August 27 for RM159. It will later launch on PS4, Epic Games Store and Xbox One On September 10.
